Apple is deprecating the UIApplicationDelegate protocol in iOS 19 SDK, expected to be announced at WWDC 2025. Multiple lifecycle methods including application(:open:options:), applicationWillResignActive(:), and applicationDidEnterBackground(_:) are being deprecated. Developers should migrate to UISceneDelegate for lifecycle management, introduced in iOS 13, using Apple’s migration guide Technote TN3187.
