Shopify REST Admin API was marked as legacy as of October 1, 2024. Starting April 1, 2025, all new public apps submitted to the Shopify App Store must be built exclusively with the GraphQL Admin API. Existing apps can continue using REST with no required changes, but REST is now in maintenance mode with no new features.
